Weekend Workshop

In this two-day workshop, students will be encouraged to explore a contemporary approach to the process of creating watercolours, whilst drawing upon traditional techniques and materials to create appealing and inventive paintings.

Watercolour has a wild side, and great fun can be had exploring the many unique and colourful effects that are possible. It is also a medium that can be controlled to produce highly refined and detailed work, so during this weekend we will aim to strike a balance between the two.

Whether you lean towards abstraction or realism, or are a complete novice, this workshop will help you gain skills and confidence in your approach to this wonderfully seductive medium.
